What is the installation procedure?
A PrimeTel representative will contact you approximately 3 days prior to the installation date in order to schedule a time with you. On the day of the installation, if you have chosen to transfer your existing phone line, your phone will stop working from around 8am, so that your line can be transferred to our network.
The installation itself will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
Installation will take place at the primary telephone socket of your address. If for some reason you wish to have the services in a different location, please arrange for an electrician to make the necessary modifications to the premise’s wiring, prior to the installation by PrimeTel. In case your computer and/or your television are in a different room from the primary telephone socket, please arrange for an electrician to make the necessary changes/additions to premise’s existing wiring infrastructure.
